Problem

serviceMob is an award-winning data analytics startup with an outdated website with content that did not match the slide deck. The problem was that the CEO and the VP of Sales would finish a presentation, then the clients or investors would do a google search and were were located on the 2nd google page. When the user finally visit our website, the content didn't match the slide deck.

Outcome

serviceMob's new website adds a delightful digital experience for investors, potential clients, and industry friends from the first greeting to returning visitors. Our digital footprint also led to a better SEO — which played a role for being selected among 8,000 applicants for the Stanley Morgan Ventures Lab in 2024.

My Process

Since I was the sole UX Designer and Marketing Coordinator, I had limited resources to complete this project with other deliverables at bay. I used Webflow to manage the website due to the easy responsive design setting and already organization for managing a design system.

I served as the project manager using Notion as my tool to gather all of the content for a better story telling website experience. I conducted a competitive analysis and led brainstorm session to rethink the information architecture. The ultimate goal of the website was 1) story telling, 2) gaining credibility, and 3) increase sales pipeline.

For the UX Design side, I conducted a simple usability test with coworkers and friends to insure there were no friction to booking a demo. Marketing students from USC also helped audit the website where we implemented their feedback.
